Terms of Service
Draft: to be replaced by the counsel-approved version before launch. This text is a placeholder prepared by the product team while the regulatory team and licensed counsel in Libya prepare the final wording.
Acceptance
By using the Bishop website, apps or waitlist you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an operator, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Accounts and roles
One account has one role: pilot or operator. You must provide accurate information and keep your licence, medical and company details current. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Verification
The Verified badge indicates that the Bishop team has reviewed the documents submitted. It is not a guarantee of qualification, currency or fitness to fly, and does not replace the operator's own regulatory obligations to check crew licences and medicals.
Crew Board and urgent requests
Bishop is a marketplace for information. Any engagement, contract, rate or payment agreed between a pilot and an operator is solely between them. Bishop is not a party to it, is not an employer, agency or broker, and does not guarantee that a request will be filled.
Subscriptions
Pilot Pro and Operator Pro are paid subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in US dollars, by card through Stripe or by bank transfer against an invoice where offered. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
No false documents, impersonation, harassment, scraping, or use of the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or that a report reveals to be unsafe.
Content
You own what you post and grant Bishop a licence to display it within the service. We may remove content that breaches these terms.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Bishop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including flight cancellations, arising from use of the service. The final version will set out the governing law and jurisdiction as advised by counsel.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
