What the Verified badge means, and what it does not.
A pilot can post availability only after uploading a licence and medical certificate and passing a review by the Bishop team. An operator is verified by work email domain and a manual check before it can post urgent requests. The badge records that review and nothing else.

Licence and medical reviewed
A person reviews each licence and medical against the issuing authority's format and checks the expiry date. The badge follows only when both pass.
Stored privately, then deleted
Scans sit in private storage and are deleted within 90 days of review, approved or not. Only the class, authority, expiry date and the verified flag are kept, and the licence number is never shown publicly.
Operators verified too
The Bishop team matches each company page to a work email domain and reviews it before the operator can post urgent requests.
Report and block
Any member can report or block another. A block takes effect at once and applies both ways. The Bishop team reads every report and can withdraw a badge.

How verification works

Upload
Your licence and medical certificate, photographed or scanned on your phone. Passport and type rating certificates are optional.

Review
The Bishop team checks the issuing authority's format, the names against your profile and the expiry dates. The team reviews Pilot Pro members first.

Verified
The Verified badge appears on your profile. With Pilot Pro you can then post availability on the Crew Board.
Verification confirms that a document is valid on its face. It is not a licence validation, an employment check or an endorsement by any civil aviation authority.
Common questions from pilots
Is it free?
Yes. Your profile, the feed, your network, messaging, applying to jobs and responding to urgent requests are free, and stay free. Pilot Pro, at USD 19 a month or USD 149 a year, adds availability posting, urgent request alerts as they go out and priority verification review.
Which licences do you accept?
A licence from any ICAO contracting state, an EASA Part-FCL licence or an FAA certificate. The issuing authority is shown on your profile, so an operator knows what they are looking at before they contact you.
I am a cadet without a type rating. Is this for me?
Yes. A cadet can build a profile, connect with colleagues and apply to jobs. Posting availability needs Pilot Pro and a verified licence and medical on file.
Who sees my documents?
Only the Bishop verification team. Operators see the Verified badge and the issuing authority, never the documents themselves.
Do I need to be in Libya?
No. Pilots anywhere in MENA and beyond can join. Libya is the launch market, so the first jobs and urgent requests will come from Libyan operators. Egypt, Tunisia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia follow in the second wave; the coverage page lists all 14 countries.
